why 2012? The Long Count Calendar of the Ancient Mayans ends on Dec 21 2012. There isn’t much information regarding what the Mayans thought would occur in 2012, but the consensus of opinion is that there will be great change. To some people this means a positive, spiritual change. Others, like myself, consider that a catastrophic event may have been predicted. what is Survive 2012? Survive 2012 is a non-fiction book I am working on. Progress is currently slow as need to work hard in the corporate world to build the necessary funds for a bunker or two. My thoughts & plans are constantly evolving in line with my continual research. Survive 2012 is also the name of this website which is an online version of the completed chapters, some half-finished chapters and some other bits and pieces. In 2012, something huge will happen. But… what? Well, that’s the issue at hand. This is what’s causing everyone to go nuts. Because not knowing what will happen to our lives in just 3 years time is the scariest possibility out there. And that’s where I, Christopher Jones, come in. I’ve figured out the answer… not just for you, but for anyone who wants to prepare and survive the terror that’s coming in 2012. But before I give you that answer, I’ve got a story for you that you MUST read, in order to understand the answer fully… This is a real account of what happened a couple of years ago to two men who led very similar lives… but only one ended up with a happy ending. The other one… well, I’ll explain. This is the story of Chris and Ted… the best of friends. They went to the same high school, graduated from the same university, and even lived next door to each other. Heck, they even worked at the same company. And if you were to look at them from the side… they led identical lives. Sadly, Chris was widowed, and Ted had been through a divorce… Each of them had a daughter, just beginning her junior year in high school. And life was peaceful, and content… until. Until a disaster happened. A disaster so massive, the death counts went into the thousands… The starvation, the disease… Words could not describe the horrors that Chris and Ted saw… the death and sorrow that they witnessed. And this disaster would change the lives of Chris and Ted forever… one for the better, and one for the worse… so much worse. Which is the reason that I got involved in this project.
