You have written a terrific book. It is selling briskly on the internet. Positive reviews are coming in. You are working your market plan to the letter and your website hits are piling up. Suddenly, questions rush into your mind. How long is this going to last? What should I do next? Should I write another book quickly? If so, on what subject? What if every time your sit down to brainstorm a new subject, you draw a blank? A worst scenerio creeps into your thoughts. What if you are a one book author? Panic sets in! However, you do not have to go through all of this frustration. Fifth, visualize yourself coming up with a great idea, rushing to your computer, smiling, and writing at a mean pace. Imagine your book is already finished and you are holding it in your hands with the title staring back at you. Depending on what your subject is, write another outline to see if there is enough strong material for the follow-up manuscript. Once that is complete, write a detailed synopsis of your new book and test it with people close to you who have read your first book. See if they are interested in more of your ideas. If the writing and contents are equal, then you have a sequel and have solved your writing dilemma for the present.
