I really have to comment how Arsenal have come of age as this season. Earlier this term I was forecasting doom for a team that seemed to only have one string to their bow and unable to break down teams who set out their stall to defend. But as time has gone by, we’ve seen players mature and a style of play develop that can defeat lesser teams a number of diferent ways. I was amazed in a recent match to see the Gunners actually throwing crosses into the box and giving defenders something else to think about, as apposed to consistently looking to thread passes into space. If they continue as they have been, I really think in a year or so they’ll be unplayable and back where they probably belong right at the top - competing for domestic and european honours.
